This is the second actuator I received that was wired backwards. I had to rewire it to make it work…!!

The actuator is wired backwards. three doors open, this one locks. Three doors lock, this actuator Opens

After a month of installation it started to make a noise when locking the doors, that’s the reason I had to buy a replacement.

Works fine, for Accord only. I bought this for my ’98 Acura CL since it looks identical to the one for the ’94-97 Accord coupe one and was told it should be the same. The unit itself is the same with the exception of the wiring. The Accord has 2, but the Acura CL has 4 wires for some reason. I’m sure you could re-pin it to work, but I just got a used one since they no longer make new motors for the CL.

Perfect replacement part for my 1997 Accord. Longevity, we’ll have to see. Item works and fits 100%.
Edit:
One week into install actuator starts acting up. It wouldn’t stop continuously locking. Had to temporarily unplug the wire harness or car would run out of battery. Hopefully replacement would last longer.
