Upon receiving my order I grabbed my vacuum pump to check the actuator on the rear mount. To my chagrin the actuator was defective. So much for quality control, back it goes.

We recently did an engine swap on my mom’s beloved 1998 Honda Odyssey. After 240,000 miles it finally gave up with a cracked head. For a couple hundred dollars we got a compatible engine from the junkyard and did some major maintenance to it before installing it in the car. I ordered a bunch of parts from Amazon for the rebuild and this was part of the list. Everything shipped quickly and it was the right part the first time. We only got to use 3 of the 4 mounts on this kit. The passenger side mount didn’t line up with the bracket it fit into. Luckily only the front and rear mounts were actually bad so instead of returning the kit and delaying our project we just put the old mount back in. That’s not where the torque was anyway.
