I use these DIANN XH-M609 12-36 volt DC Low Voltage Protection disconnect switches along with high-power load resistors for draining my various lithium batteries when I’m done with a project and I have batteries with too much charge for storage.

I have 10 of the XH-M609 Low Voltage Disconnects that I have had for several years. I have recently purchased the package of 6 from DIANN. Only one of the units from DIANN work. The other five are defective out of the package. The one that did work is identical to the older units I have had. The way to tell the good units from the defective units is the working units have five test points to the right of the display. The defective units have four test point to the right of the display. See the attached photo for the physical difference. All of the resistor values are different on the defective units compared to the values on the working units. Unless there is some “secret” reset to make the defective one power on then the units with the four holes are total junk.
UPDATE: I have retried the five units that were not working earlier. Two of the five are now working. Three of the six ordered units are now working. Seems like a component on the board may have a faulty connection.
