It functions as it should, not the most rugged construction, but a good value for the price. Would purchase again.

Item works fine.
The clips are not very tight and come off easily if being pulled on (not hard, just in a normal way like when you move a cooler and the line stretches).
The black and red protective sleeves come off all the time, they are very loose, you might want to tape them on.
Other than that, so far, did fit the different plugs we have (as there seem to be a lot of different ones).

I ordered this item at the same time I ordered the “Roadpro 12v Battery Clip-On and Cigarette Lighter Adapter”. I found this item (18710 12v Universal…) to be good enough to do the job, but the Roadpro is superior, IMO.
Noted things I don’t like: 1. The clamps feel flimsier, like they will bend or get out of alignment if twisted–they aren’t very stout. 2. the insulator on the non-wired side of the clamp falls off easily. Might as well just throw the insulators in the kitchen drawer right now since you’ll lose them anyway. 3. The springs in the clamps are noticeably weaker than on the RoadPro.
Things I do like: 1. The device works fine. Reliable. 2. The wire is not too long for when you have short distance jobs. 3. The lighter plug has a cap so you can keep the elements out when not in use. 4. Even thought the springs are weaker, they are sufficient.
I’d buy this product again if I needed to. It does its job well.

Short cord. But, in my case its perfect. well made, good clamps, which I didn’t need either, but they are fine.

works well but clamps are cheap appearing, cap on this one is nice addition although its not meant for severe use a cap is cheap plastic not good rubber

Works fine. Use it to run air compressor directly from the battery on RZR.
