This was a serious waste of my time and money. I might as well have used cooking oil. That’s how great it didn’t work for my rust covered fire pit. I followed the instructions to a T. I watched the company’s YouTube video that demonstrated how to use it. It wasn’t complicated. I still have a very rusty fire pit coil, but now it’s just covered in an oily substance that also, wont come off!! Save your time and money.

I got a used drumkit it was on a room with high humidity so all the bolts on every drum was brown of rust. Still the kit had a great sound, but those bolts were completely rusted.. I was about to replace them but realized they were extremely expensive, compared to tegular bolts.. So i completely dissasembled every drum of the kit, one by one.. It was about 20 bolts for each drum, including washers and other metalic components.. I just put everything inside a plastic bottle, and filled with water and corrosionX. Shook it and let it resting for about one hour. After draining all the brown resulting liquid and rinsed and dryed I couldnt beleive how the ended. I got new bolts after the procedure! This thing is amazing.
Just a word of caution, if you have any minor cut or scratchs in hands or fingers, its better to wear rubber gloves when using this product because it could itch like hell.

Used this on a painted surface that rust was bleeding through. I may as well have used water as it did nothing to remove the rust.
I brushed it on, scrubbed it with a brush, let it set, repeated this several times and nothing.
I spilled some on my garage floor and it started foaming. After wiping it up it seemed to clean the area of the spill so maybe it could be used as a cement cleaner.

I ended up using the whole bottle on what should have only used up about 1/3 of it. The first time through it didn’t remove much and I was mad. The second time it took quite a bit more. The third time it took quite a lot.
In the end it worked OK. It didn’t get all of the rust but it got most of it.
