Love these guys. Nice to the touch and the fine grain leaves a dry surface. The sponge corners are crisp and make cleaning surface corners possible. That is a wonderful feature. I like the wetting process of the sponge, turning a brick into a smooth and soft surface. Have reordered several times.

I love how they soak up the water and soap, almost leaves the floor dry. Easy to clean and wring out. I don’t like how smooth they are, BUT I’ve got other things for scrubbing.

If people have complained about these sponges, it’s because they don’t know how to use them! They absorb a massive amount of water which makes clean ups and leaks so much simpler than regular sponges.
For drink spills, pet urine or toddler accidents in carpet they are pure magic!!! Wet the sponge and wring it out well, then put it on top of the liquid spill. Push a fist or two into the sponge as hard as you can and once you remove your fist the sponge will literally suck the spill out of the carpet and underlay which is huge when dealing with urine or staining fluids like coffee or wine etc. if you catch it when it’s just happened… you’re golden. If it’s dried, re wet the problem area and let the sponges suck the dirty fluid back out – and repeat until you’re satisfied. I’ve kept a version of these sponges in my house for decades now and I wouldn’t be without them for those odd moments like a leak or spill / they are game changers!
I’ve saved carpets and once a fabric couch because I’ve owned these sponges and they’ll soak up & draw out so much fluid that a carpet or a couch can feel practically dry after a serious spill.
I bought this set because my ice maker started drizzling water into my fridge. It was a major headache but these sponges just sit there and soak it all up. No worries until the repair man can get here now.
I don’t necessarily use them as my daily sponge. I use them to solve a real crisis. My parents had a version of these when I was a kid… 40 years later, I always keep them on hand!!

I like this sponge a lot for the traits that many have covered, including ability to soak up a lot of liquids and being a good at wiping things clean. Here are two unexpected characteristics that I discovered. 1) You should not informally ‘sterilize’ this in a microwave oven like you might ordinary sponges. It will deform. The half-sponge I did this too still works, but it is a little smaller (and denser, I think) and not a nice, rectilinear block shape anymore. (It shows the permanent imprint of the rim of a yogurt container I had set it on top of in the microwave.) 2) It is more abrasive than I realized at first. Scrubbing the edge of a wooden desk top that I had finished myself with a staining penetrating oil finish roughened up the surface a little bit and removed some of the color where I cleaned the most. This didn’t happen on another table top which I had finished myself with what I considered a superior brand of penetrating oil finish, and it probably wouldn’t happen with any commercially applied wood furniture finish. Still, it was an interesting result and worth noting.

I’ve tried natural sponges and many other synthetic sponges, but this one absorbs the best — hands down. Beware of cheap imitations; they may sound good, but they don’t get the job done. This one could absorb a swimming pool of water and not need a squeeze until the pool is bone dry. I won’t again use anything else. It’s amazingly good. Their claims are no hype. Don’t settle for anything inferior to this fantastic product.

I bought this product to clean my car and use it occasionally to remove the stagnant water leaking under the sink. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance. It’s quite durable and handy. Once dried after using it, they are as good as new ones. I honestly think that it is worth the money and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cleaning sponge.
