Seems accurate and well made there’s a bit of lag tho but I like the look of it and it was easy to install and the instructions were pretty good

The wire harness is too short, can’t reach from point A to B inside the car. Going to need more wires to extend. Still can’t beat the price

I was having intermittent “Low Oil Pressure” alarms on my Yanmar 3GM30 Saildrive diesel, and 2 mechanics suggested I add an actual oil gauge rather than just trust the “idiot light,” so after checking out NAPA’s overly expensive options locally (I think mostly geared towards racing?)….I saw this electric gauge, and figured since the alarm had gone off a few times while motoring at night, I figured this lit digital gauge was a better option.
After discovering it would not thread into the Yanmar’s sensor part, I learned all about American NPT thread vs BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread…i.e. Metric thread), and found a multi-port BSPT-to-NPT+BSPT stainless adapter here on Amazon that allowed both idiot light sensor/switch and this new gauge to be connected at once.
Replacing the original switch seemed to solve the problem (limited testing so far), but at least now I can see actual pressure read-out in the dark engine compartment day or night …works and looks great !

I really like these gauges, I just wish they were dimmable, they are brighter than my other dash lighting and stick out too much in the dark. I tinted the faces.

I like that it is fairly simple to use and as long as you have some knowledge, it is easy to install. I like the various colours and I like it can switched off when not required. However, the instructions are woefully inadequate for anyone who has never installed one before.

Initially ordered three of these and after going through 2-3 different sets of them, they do not read anything. Cheaply made—get what you pay for!
