The carburetor would not work. The engine was hard to start and ran rough.

This was a direct replacement for the carb on my 22HP Kohler. One of the gaskets must have been a “universal†gasket but sealed up just fine despite its shape and size.
Test –
This is the best replacement for a KT735-3090 HO Kohler motor carb part number 16-053-21-S. This motor is no longer in production and parts are hard to find exact matches for. Zero issues with idle pulsing up and down.

Would have been nice to have some instructions. Several pieces included with no explanation of what they are for. Would not recommend.
