In a turbocharged car, a weak-but-still-functioning coil pack can result in a misfire that occurs only when boosting, while the car otherwise seems to be running fine. Ideally you’ll be able to diagnose it by reading the OBD2 malfunction codes which will even point you to a particular cylinder, i.e. P0301 is misfire in cylinder number one, P0302 for cylinder number two, etc. The relatively high density of air/fuel while boosting can effectively blow out a weak spark, cause a misfire and throw one of these codes. Of course it’s worth checking the spark plug(s) where there’s a misfire: too large a gap or a cracked electrode can also cause a misfire. In a non-turbocharged car, a failing coil will more likely come closer to completely failing before you’ll get a noticeable misfire or malfunction code. In either case, if your misfire is an ignition coil problem, replacing a weak or failed coil pack is the fix, and the appropriate coil pack(s) for the car, like this one for the 1.4L turbo can be an easy and low cost DIY fix.

Amazon did a great job delivering. The seller misadvertises, claiming these coils will fit a 2015 Dodge Dart. The ignition coils are a different shape, they do not fit, and we are returning this product.
