this seems to be exactly the same as my OEM TPS. the only thing i can’t confirm is the longevity since i’ll need to log a lot of hours before i can speak on that. overall i can’t complain so i would think this is a great option.

By all indications this looks to be an exact replacement for my 1986 Toyota 22RE TPS.
The main reason these go bad is the spring weakens and resistance builds up inside and causes rough idling, surge etc.
You can see by my video the spring on this replacement unit is good and strong.
I compared it next to the one on the truck and the electrical hookup is identical as is the mounting holes.
We have had below freezing temperatures with snow on the ground for about a week now. This is a truck I am restoring so it will have to wait until some warmer temperatures to install and test.
At this point in time I have to give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 5🌟’s. After installing I will update this review if necessary.
It is priced at about 1/3 the cost of an OE unit so more than fair asking price. It looks well made, the spring is working as it should. Glad to see aftermarket items being offered for vehicles this old.
