I am new to the gel coat buffing world, so don’t have much comparison, but this seems good and thick. I think it’s well made.

I don’t detail cars for a living I do it because I enjoyed making my vehicles look as nice as they ride. I think it’s crazy to make something that is this nice. The reason I say that is that it will last a long time and who knows could be the last one you ever buy I doubt that but it could be.

This is the perfect size if you have large SUVs and pickup trucks. Which I have a few of those around my house. Make sure you clean this properly if you’re not sure on how to do that you can Google it and it will tell you what you need to know. It’s very easy and it would be a waste of your money if you don’t take care of this when you’re done using it. You always want to clean it after you’re done or at least soon after. One reason is the longer the compound stays in there the harder it is to remove and also if you’re using water you need to wait for it to dry to use it again. So that way if you do it after it will be ready for you the next time you need it.
