    Tried this relay to fix my Audi A6’s fuel pump issue, but it nearly caused a fire. The “”compact size”” claimed in the description is misleading – the relay housing is 2mm thicker than my original 4D0951253 part, forcing me to hammer it into the socket. Worse, after less than two days of normal driving, the relay overheated and melted the plastic casing, triggering a fuel pump shutdown on the highway.

    The “”enhanced circuit protection”” is non-functional. My mechanic confirmed the internal contacts are made of low-grade copper (not silver alloy as advertised), which corroded after minimal use. Avoid this cheap knockoff unless you want to risk your vehicle’s safety.
