They Broke the first time I opened my Trunk, just like the last ones..!😡😤..The part that attached to the Trunk hood is made of plastic and needs to be metal..It strips the screw threads everytime..Not Recommended

Works Great. Good p.
Michael J. Onda –
I installed both struts in a Saturday. By Monday, both struts had stripped out the threads where they screwed into the upper bracket. They both come completely apart every time I open the trunk. Definitely returning these.
DonC –
Put them on and only lasted less than a week with only opening the trunk 3-4 times and the end came apart at the base end. I thought it just needed to be screwed back on, not so… Barely enough threads hold it on due to the design. Don’t waste your money

The hydraulic cylinder is a half inch longer than the factory
one and it rubs on something in the hinge assembly, it works for now.
