I’ve heard a few people complain about these style throttle cables but mine has been great so far, I definitely recommend getting some chain lube or dry lube for the cable, as it’s very tough initially, but this helped a lot. I am very happy. I used it for a hi ram install on an LS motor in a 2000 silverado

Definitely not for throttle bodies. The stainless braided line looks good but that’s it. The braided portion of the line compresses when you try to open the throttle body with the gas pedal. No liner in the braided line. Bummer. Do not waste your time unless you don’t mind your throttle not opening fully.

… I was disappointed to find the ball stud is not snap together so you have to unbolt the linkage any time you need to remove the carburetor. highly inconvenient and a step backwards.
