i mounted it later of course. Sensor fits perfect in my 1964 plymouth 225 slant six. No need to drill block for bigger mechanical sensor. The top end where wire connects to sensor is a little smaller than factory but its easy to adjust for.

Measuring water temp in classic 60s car. This was great since electronic vs sensor bulb with guage line didn’t fit available oem install location. This guage could have used the sensor already there . Installed new sensor to insure accuracy
