I do a bit of traveling now and then, and leave my cars parked for weeks at a time. Sometimes, I can be gone over a month or two. Obviously, if you don’t have your battery hooked up to a battery tender, you can expect to come back to one that has been severely depleted, if not dead. I have tried a lot of these negative pole battery disconnect switches, and I know for a fact that this is the best design. If you are deciding between this lever design, and the one that screws and unscrews, let me alleviate any sort of possible confusion, and tell you that the lever design is by far the superior one. I’ve had bad battery connections with the screwed design one that were very problematic, and never had a problem with this lever design. I actually already have one of these on one of my cars, and wanted one for the other. It’s such a simple way to disconnect, and reconnect your battery. I’ve never had an issue with it when it was connected, and disconnecting it takes half a second. If you’re looking for a battery disconnect switch, this is the one you want. I highly recommend it.

When I opened the package, it has lots of scratch and all parts & screws are loss. The leg was broken when I tie up the screw. I cannot identify what material it is from the broken section of the leg (See photo) but it doesn’t look like any heavy duty material at all. I will avoid this.

quick and easy to install seem to be decent quality thin blade made for negative post which has less amp draw than positive epically when cranking over, worth installing if vehicle sits a lot saves on battery draw down just have to reset the clock and radio but better than having to jump it or eventually ruining the battery from going dead all the time or sitting dead for too long, come in both side post and top post
