Descrição do Produto: SIQUK 24 Packs Car Polisher Pad Bonnets
You get many blue woven “buffing pads,” many blue microfiber pads, 2 cotton pads, and 2 faux fleece pads. These are not luxurious or high quality pads. They are average, blue collar, working man pads. The microfiber, fleece, & cotton pads seem okay, but I do not trust the woven “buffing” pads. I’m not sure how they’re are to be used, and they look & feel scary, like they’d scratch/destroy whatever surface they were used on.
It is clear this manufacturer needs to save money any way they can to sell these pads at this price. These pads come with no instructions, no guides, no information, or paper of any kind. They are “packed” in a plastic bag and then that bag has the air vacuumed out to reduce its volume. And boy, howdy. The air is sucked out of the containing bag with so much force that the bundle of pads becomes a rock hard, sharp-edged morass of pads, compressed to the point they are almost stone like. No, not almost, they are stone-like when packed.
So, they seem mostly okay, but I’d test on an inconspicuous area before trusting them on something you value.

It’s not often you can say disappointingly a product exceeded one’s expectations, but in this case the polishing bonnets really did. When I first looked at them, they looked like any other bonnets, stuffed into a vacuum packed bag and looking questionable. A definite case of Oh well this is going to be a disappointment. Once out of the bag they relaxed and looked reasonable. My first use was with one of the microfiber bonnets to polish an already sanded epoxy resin pour. Firstly, I was impressed that the bonnet perfectly fit my vintage Black & Decker, Model W006B polisher. Secondly, I was able to polish the entire project, over 20 square feet, with a single bonnet. Then the surprise. So thirdly, I tossed the used bonnet into a pile of shop cloths I had been using. The entire pile of cloths, along with the bonnet, got machine washed. Okay, no big deal. Inadvertently, the bonnet got tossed into the dryer. I figured that I’d end up with a rather shriveled, shrunken bonnet. But no, the bonnet looked great and fit the polisher just as if it had never been used. So, in summary this is a great product that really exceeded my expectations, especially as they look like they’re reusable after washing. I’m sure they will eventually wear out but in the mean time they’re great.

I remember the good ol’ days when car polishing involved a bucket of soapy water, a sponge, and a lot of elbow grease. But now, we have this practical bonnet set claiming to revolutionize the polishing game. With 24 pieces in tow, it promises to cater to all your car polishing needs.
The blue microfiber bonnets are supposed to be the star of the show, intensifying their efforts to nab dust and micron particles. They certainly look the part, with their high intensity and density. However, when put to the test, they don’t quite deliver on their lofty promises. Dust particles still managed to cling onto the surface, laughing in the face of these hardworking bonnets.
Then there are the white polisher pads bonnet, made of what they call “high-quality synthetic fleece.” Now, I must admit, I wasn’t aware these were a thing. But here we are, with these pads dividing microfiber into eight fiber threads, as if they were starting a microscopic knitting club. The intention is to increase surface area and porosity, supposedly enhancing water absorption. Sadly, these pads seem to have a love-hate relationship with water, leaving us wondering if they’re secretly afraid of commitment.
Now, the elastic design of the polishing pad cover deserves a nod. Its elasticity offers great flexibility in adjusting tightness and diameter, accommodating car polishers of various sizes. I couldn’t help but imagine a bonnet magically stretching to fit the most oddly shaped vehicles out there, like a contortionist at a car show.
In terms of applications, this bonnet set claims to be versatile, ready to tackle furniture, automotive, metal, bronze, wood lacquer, kitchen appliances, musical instruments, special surfaces, polishing parts, and final polishing. It’s like they want us to believe this bonnet set is the Swiss Army Knife of the polishing world.
All in all, this bonnet set falls somewhere in the middle of the polishing spectrum. It has its redeeming qualities, but it’s far from the game-changer it proclaims to be. If you’re looking for a quick fix or a magical solution to all your polishing woes, you might want to keep searching. However, if you’re willing to work with its limitations and embrace a touch of irony in your polishing endeavors, this bonnet set might just be worth a try.
