Simply plug in, connect, play.
Packaging is simple and the directions are straightforward. Basically, if you have connected your phone to anything else, you should be able to connect your phone to this device.
The initial boot up took a little bit but after that boot up is quick.
The best feature is that the you can rotate the USB plug to best fit in your vehicle.
One random feature is the rotating led light color. As standard these is a led light to let you know the device is plugged in. Once it is connected successfully, the colors change. I haven’t found a way to select a specific color so the colors just change.
NOTE: If something is wrong, the color will stay red.

After trying several different types of dongles I settled for a car shaped one that was not too intrusive. The only problem I had with it is that it covered the Aux port of my Kona, located just to the left of the USB port. I decided to keep it as I don’t really use that port anyways, until I ran into this one, what I like the most about it is that you can rotate it in 45° increments until you find the position that you prefer
I deducted one star because after using it for a month or so, the plastic cover came apart, exposing the internal circuit of the dongle. I was able to put it back on but it may come off again eventually as all I did was to press it back in until it clicked in place.

I’ve owned this for 3 weeks and so far it’s been the best wireless carplay dongle I’ve used. I’ve yet had to restart it or my phone to get it to connect. I use it in a Ford Maverick and it works perfect, first one I have owned that hasn’t required a restart or my turning off/on my Bluetooth on my phone. It is also the fastest to pull up the Carplay screen. The only downside (if you call it that) is that the lights on the device go in a rainbow pattern when connected. So it’s constantly changing colors. It’s a slight distraction at first…however I think the manufacturer should have made the light stay a steady dark green to show when it’s connected.

I tried connecting to it and I have a samsung galaxy s24 ultra with a 2020 Subaru WRX. It’ll connect but my car will say apple car play then it’ll disconnect. It’ll connect again on its own, but this time saying android auto. Then it just goes to a blank screen on my cars android auto screen. Then it does nothing for about 20 second before it disconnects and stops. I’ll unplug it and plug it back in where it runs the entire process over again like clockwork. I dont know if it’s a one off or if it’s just not android friendly as it is advertised to be.

The car has car play, but only works with it plugged into the car. I wanted it to be able to connect to the car without the wires and this is exactly what I was looking for! It is small, has a rotatable swivel, and connects to the car effortlessly. The pairing took a few minutes to do and once set up it connects to the car within seconds! The RGB lights are subtle, and a welcome addition. I was worried about the possibility that it would stay on when my car is turned off, but it automatically shuts off when the car completely turns off.

This was used to set up wireless Apple CarPlay in a 2023 Hyundai (that doesn’t have a built-in wireless setup, oddly enough). The initial setup was easy and went smoothly, allowing the iPhone to connect wirelessly – no issues. The next time the car was turned on, the iPhone wouldn’t connect to the device automatically, no matter how many attempts were made. We reset the connection, and it worked, but after restarting the car, it did not automatically connect. We’ve learned that it requires the touchscreen to manually connect the device, which takes away some of the convenience but isn’t a deal-breaker. The positives are that since the device can rotate, it fits almost any USB port in the car. It’s also nice and compact and fits easily in the armrest, whereas many other devices require a longer cord to be hidden. So overall, this device is better than the one we previously had, but I removed a star because it’s not connecting automatically like it should.

This CarPlay adapter is small and doesn’t get in the way when plugged into the car. It connects to my phone quickly and stays stable. I’ve been using it for a few days and haven’t had any problems. Now I can use CarPlay in my Kia without needing a cable,very convenient.
