Magnet is strong and the build quality is solid, even though it’s mostly plastic. (It’s the nice plastic)
Holds my iphone 14 plus great with my mag safe case. Phone does not slip at all once it’s locked in. It takes a lot to get it to budge, i was surprised actually.
The suction works well, but only on *super* smooth surfaces like glass or metal. Tried it on a cheap fake whiteboard and it was fine at first, then popped off after a couple hours w/ no phone. I might need to test licking it or something for extra grip.
My desk is smooth laminate and it doesn’t work on that either. The desk has the tiniest little micro grooves in it, so I’m assuming air gets under it. Understandable & no big deal.
The clicking when you adjust it is oddly satisfying too, kind of like a built-in fidget toy.
If you get the right spot to mount it, this thing is great. Just test it and be careful on any sort of textured or slightly rough surfaces.
It will most likely end up in my car when I drive and need the google maps.
EDIT: It doesn’t bend back far enough to use on the car windshield. The angle is a few degrees off and your phone is awkward and points down just a little bit. So mounting in the car like a traditional GPS is a no-go, at least for mine.
Overall still super useful to film videos in random spots too when / if you don’t want to mess with a tripod 👍🏼👍🏼

Please know I received this magnet as a promotion for my unbiased opinion.
This little magnet is compact and easy to use anywhere there is a flat surface. The magnet did not work with my current TPU lightweight case, BUT the bracket box DID include a magnetic ring with an adhesive side! The included magnetic ring is very lightweight and worked perfectly after sticking the ring to the outside of my phone case- without adding a ton of weight to my phone. My friend’s mag friendly case works great with this magnet. After attaching the ring to my phone case- I’ve used the suction cup (holding the iPhone12) on the front of the microwave, fridge, car window, radio display, and bathroom mirror- all with success. The bracket does not fit easily in my pocket as pictured on Amazon. But it doesn’t take up much space and easily fits in my laptop bag. No negative issues to report.
I opt for a lightweight, inexpensive, easy to pop on/off protective case that is not magnet charging friendly. The bracket did not work with my case until I attached the (included, magnetic) ring. I don’t like a heavy phone/case and the ring’s weight is negligible. For those of you without an iPhone case or with a mag case- you’ll be great with this! Seems durable and made well. It’s compact and lightweight but with a powerful magnet. The dial to increase and reduce suction is easy to use. The magnet is strong and holds the phone in the car when it’s bumpy. I take the bracket around with me- not just the car. If you have a more permanent place to use this, it comes with wipes to clean the area. I tried to use this on my “infotainment” screen and it cracked the screen with the phone’s weight, so don’t use the suction cup on your screen. Better on a glass surface. Definitely can recommend this phone holder bracket.

I got this to use on my old radio in the car that is just outdated. When placing my phone on it the screen is just the right size and woks out great. Vibration is little to none, and the grip is excellent. I love the easy install and low profile design which makes it ascetically pleasing and matches the cars design. This is definitely worth trying
