I have owned this unit for over a week now, and I am pleased to report that it is a fantastic unit. My 2007 VW Jetta is an antique with a very basic sound system. As a result, I wanted to enable CarPlay on it. I was skeptical when I first came across this unit, but I decided to give it a try because it could potentially replace two systems with one. The other is the CAR DVR system.
The unit comes with various car attachments, allowing you to attach it to the windshield with the suction cup mount or install it on the dashboard. I chose the dashboard for a specific reason. (Continue reading for more information.)The wireless pairing to the iPhone was a breeze. I wanted to see how easy it would be to connect CarPlay, so I didn’t read the instructions. I was able to connect my iPhone 13 without having to refer to the user guide. Kudos to Apple and this company. The device must be rebooted once to enter Carplay mode, but after that, it will automatically connect when I enter the car, making it very simple to use. The touch display is responsive and simple to use with CarPlay. I was concerned that it might lag, but it operates similarly to any current smartphone, with no lag.
The other function I wanted to replace was the CarDVR, which was an aging 1080P unit. This one has a resolution of 4K, and I was able to get very clear images. The dashboard mount is your best option for installation because of the camera’s position. This will ensure that the mount does not obstruct your view.
Overall, I am pleased with the outcome. I can use Hey Siri and Waze to navigate the road. Considering the individual cost of purchasing a CarPlay monitor and a 4K Car DVR, this is a fantastic value.

This is the perfect alternative if you don’t have Car Play installed. My ’14 Honda Accord has a dated GPS and it takes too much time to enter the address using a roller wheel control. I looked into getting Apple Car Play installed and they do have a version that would work for my car but would be over 1000 dollars. This barely over a 100 dollar unit works perfectly for Car Play and navigation is easy and fun to use again. The screen is bright and clear and even mimics the new AI border colors that are on new IPhones. Speaking to Siri is easy and clear, unlike using my phone with a holding device. So glad I came across this, I highly recommend.

I was surprised to find that there are no instructions of any kind in the box. But decided I wouldn’t let that get in the way of trying. It linked to my phone easy and pretty much automatically. The screen itself is clear and I feel the quality is good. One issue I ran into is that the adhesive for the dash board mount would not stick to the hard plastic on my recessed portion of the dash (2015 Toyota Tundra). That may be more of a reflection on my dash material. Not sure. I tried heating the adhesive some and retried and it somewhat stuck. The one thing going for it is the screen is pretty much balanced on the mount and not putting any side ways pressure.
My biggest issue though is without any instructions there are a few things I can’t figure out. Haven’t been able to get the screen to link to the truck speakers. I think it may be because my phone is linked to both the truck and the screen. Maybe the truck cannot handle two devices at once. So far a quick search online has not produced any answers. Have only had it installed a couple of days so hopefully I will figure things out soon because it seems like a quality item. There are too many great reviews for me to throw the unit under the bus. I just wish they would include instructions for those of us that might not be as tech savvy.

Here’s my updated review after using it for about a month:
## Display-
Quality of the display is great! It can get quite bright and viewing it in broad daylight is no problem.
## Audio-
Audio quality is nice. You can also use it with your car’s radio and it works great.
## Dash Cam-
The dash cam is decent. Records clear 4K videos. You will be able to read the number plate of the vehicle if that vehicle stops in traffic in front of you and its daytime. I’m pretty happy with it.
## Rear Cam-
I have not installed it yet. However, just plugged it in to check if it works. It works and the quality is decent as well.
## Mounts-
Two mounts are included in the package. I was using the suction type one. It was working pretty well, until one day the mount came off and the whole thing dropped to the floor of the car. I contacted the manufacturer about it. They were helpful and sent me a replacement mount.
## Issue with Phone Charging-
Very random case. Sometimes during charging a phone, the tablet may restart. It does not happen all the time. I was told that this may happen with older cars as the car’s battery may not be able to provide sufficient current for both the tablet and the phone. Again, it is pretty random and does not happen always. Anyway, the manufacturer were nice enough to offer me refund for my troubles.
## Customer Support-
Initially the customer support was not very helpful. However, they reached out to me later with better solutions. I am overall pretty happy with the interaction.

I recently installed this CarPlay screen in my car, and it has completely transformed my driving experience. The screen is clear and responsive, making navigation and media control much easier. Wireless CarPlay connects quickly without any lag, and the audio quality is great. The installation was straightforward, even for someone without much technical knowledge. I also love that it supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making it versatile for different users. Overall, this is a fantastic upgrade for any older car that lacks built-in CarPlay. Highly recommended!

• Reason for Purchase: I had completely removed the infotainment system in one of our vehicles to install a larger screen with CarPlay/Android Auto. While it functioned well in many regards (larger screen, colour screen, CarPlay/Android Auto capabilities, Android tablet functionality, compatibility with factory 360 birds-eye view cameras, etc.) it had issues including a horrible amplifier that made songs above a certain volume crackle, echos with the microphone, mediocre GPS, pixelated 360 birds-eye view camera because of image stretch to fit the larger screen, and hanging up/declining a phone call despite setting up the CANBUS system to program the pick up phone button to pick up calls. As such, I ripped this system out (and had a sunk cost of $400 in the process) to reinstall the factory-default infotainment system. In the meantime, I was looking for a better screen option to keep the benefits of CarPlay/Android Auto functionality when I came across this screen.
There are many different options available for additional/portable screens to create a dual-screen view for a vehicle ranging from various brands, size (6-10+ inches), shape (long rectangular, short rectangular, square, etc.), resolution, mounting options, etc.. I wanted something of about 8-10 inches for easy viewing, short rectangular, 4K quality, and dash mounting.
• Materials/Build Quality: (A) 3M-branded mounting tape. (B) Strong dashboard mount (have not tried the suction mount as I do not care for it/do not want my display to fall down secondarily to the hot sun beating down on the windshield causing the silicone mount to fall off the windshield or dashboard. (C) Strong screen display quality, i.e., not flimsy or soft when interacting with it.
• Features: (A) 64GB SD card included (seems to work well so far but unsure of long-term reliability). (B) CarPlay and Android Auto capability with WiFi or Bluetooth and quick connectivity to Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and S24 Ultra (do not have an iPhone to try CarPlay). (C) Dash cam with a 360 rotating head (although I do wish it could also slide up the bottom part of the captured image is 1/4th of my car front hood). (D) Dash and windshield mount (I use the dash mount with the very sticky 3M tape x2 that is included). (E) Rear view camera (which I cannot comment on as I have not installed it – my car already has a rear-view camera). (F) Highly-responsive touchscreen interface without any lag.
• Aesthetic: Beautiful design without the random brand written on the screen of the device.
• Comparable Products: Many on Amazon but have not tested them.

I just love my new GPS and Dash cam recorder. It was pretty simple to connect via Bluetooth, setup was very easy by entering the Language and Date and Time.
One of the reasons why I purchased this device, is because I was fed up of the Lousy and Garbage music on the radio, with endless talk.
With this device I was able to listen to Lots of Chosen songs on Spotify App….so Now I have great music while I travel.
Also the Waze app GPS is amazing too.
The Device is connected directly on FM radio station 93.3 FM. and it plays very nice on my Radio.
My Car is a 2008 Hyundai Accent and it is very nice to have a Bluetooth Device that Can answer incoming phone calls and Navigate with Waze through Traffic Safely
The Device turns on immediately after I start the Car, and it takes a few seconds to connect to Android Auto and it quickly starts playing my Music on Spotify.
I simply Love my New Android Device.
The Price is very good considering all the benefits and Features it comes with.
I paid about $193.00 with Tax.

Excellent product.
Easy setup: pretty much plug and play, SD card is pre-installed in the screen, plug in reverse camera and that is it.
Fast boot: like seen in the video, boot up in less than 10 seconds, which is on par with my car computer getting ready for Bluetooth.
Android Auto: straight forward setup, just need to pair with screen Bluetooth once, once Android Auto starts, it automatically switches to wifi for wireless connection and leave phone Bluetooth connected back to car audio. (My phone connected to the car Bluetooth before) Everything works perfectly afterwards. No more connection to be made. The screen remembers Android Auto on next car start.
Bluetooth works surprisingly well. As seen in the screenshot, music information is correctly displayed in car system and Android Auto.
Very happy purchase. Definitely recommend.
