It has a sticky part, which I didn’t press hard enough so it did fall off, I pressed it down harder and it hasn’t fallen off since! Ended up buying one for my bf.

I definitely needed this! It not only has 1 mounting options but has 3!!! I wasn’t sure going when I started looking for one of these as to which option would work best for me AND my car. Then I saw this one. It has all the options I was considering. That’s when I knew this was the one to get. Ultimately I decided to use dash mount because it seems to fit me AND the car best. I love that I can adjust it’s distance from the driver for when I need it closer and my husband likes it a bit farther away since arms are longer. I have a Samsung Galaxy A10e and it sits perfectly in the holder even with my case on. I appreciate that I can turn the phone to its side if I need to for a landscape type view or upright for primary use. I also like that I can still plug in the charger cord while it is in the holder. Plus the way the bottom piece adds extra security in holding your phone from the bottom. The price was excellent too. You can’t beat the quality, functions, price or durability. You won’t be disappointed.

First off, I am a bit upset that I purchased this product when it was $31, as I do not think it is worth that much! It is now $16, which sounds more reasonable. I feel that it was a rip off to pay over $30 for that.
This is my second phone mount. I had purchased another type, which did not last more than 8 months because the suction did not work with the summer heat. So I decided to try another type with this one. I was particularly interested in the vent clip, since the previous suction has melted in the heat. Unfortunately, when I installed it on my car vent, it did not stay and would constantly fall off the vent as I was driving, which was super annoying. It was installed properly though, but it is too flimsy to hold the phone properly. I’d then have to stop and constantly readjust it. In the end, I removed it and have decided to try this thing using the suction instead of the vent clip. I have not used it yet, I just installed it today with the suction, so I’ll see how it holds up when driving. As we are going into the summer months though, I think that it’ll also melt in the heat. I purchased new sticky pads so that I am prepared to replace them should they melt away. For those of us who live in warmer climates, I’m not sure that it’ll last. Overall, I would not buy it again, especially at the price I paid then, which was not right imo.

Update: I gave this product a second chance by attaching it to the windshield after it kept falling off of the dashboard. It did the same on the windshield after 1 day. I never did get to use it to hold my phone.
Received the holder on Monday. I opened the box and immediately noted how well made it was for the price. I
assembled it and went out to the garage and got in the car. I cleaned and dried my dash board twice with the 2 enclosed wipes where I wanted the holder mounted. I peeled off the protective plastic and firmly pressed it down and activated the suction cup . It was solidly mounted. I placed my phone in , made some adjustments to the viewing angle and went in the house. I came out the next morning to run some errands and there was my phone holder, on the floor of the passenger side. I ran my errands, went home, cleaned the suction cup and grabbed a mild glass and surface cleaner. I went back to the car and cleaned and dried the dash area again. I went back into the house for 15-20 minutes to make sure the dashboard and the suction cup were completely dried. I reattached the phone holder to the dash, this time pressing down as firmly as I could while activating the suction cup. It was stuck securely. I pulled the car into the garage and went inside. A few hours later I had to run to the hardware store and there was my holder, laying on the center console. I ran my errand, went home and repeated the process one more time, only this time after cleaning the dash I wiped it down with
water on a damp cloth to make sure there was no cleaner residue on the dash. I wiped it dry, waited 20 minutes for it to dry even more and I reattached the holder. It was stuck securely again. I came out this morning it was perfectly in place on my dash. I went uptown, ran some errands, stopped at the farmers market and got some tomatoes, cucumbers and spring onions, ran into a couple friends and talked for a few minutes, and walked back to the car. And there was my phone holder laying on the passenger side floor again . I threw it on the seat and went home and that’s where it’s laying right now. I still, other than the original adjustment minute, have never even had my phone in the holder. One more try tomorrow on the dash, but in a different area, and if it falls off again I’ll try it on the windshield. If that fails I guess I’ll return it and try another brand. I really like this thing too, it’s built solid and is easily adjustable, and holds the phone securely. It’s actually perfect and exactly what I was looking for, except for this one GIANT problem… I’ll update this when I have an update to add.
