This is my second retractable car charger, and quickly took over as my primary. The fast charging on this one works great, and the retraction mechanism for the cables feels pretty solid. I don’t have much use for the ambient lighting, but appreciate that it has several settings (including off) and that the device retains those settings between uses. I did find the voltage display a bit too bright for me, but was able to cut that down with some screen dimming stickers.

Ok this is brilliant. The retractable cords I didn’t know how bad I needed. No more random cords all over the car or worse, taken into the house by me or a kid (mostly a kid) and not brought back. Its great when I have an Apple guest (because we are an android family) they can charge too. There are also two other ports for someone with their own cord or for someone sitting in the back because the cords don’t extend that far. This totally eliminated the mess. The light is cute but I’d love it even without. I like knowing my car battery voltage at a glance. The only barely bothersome thing is it was kind of hard to get in. At first I thought it wasn’t gonna fit at all. The angle is adjustable in two directions so it should work no matter where your lighter is located. I REALLY hope this lasts because I’ll definitely have to buy another if it breaks.

As a family with both brands of major cell phone makers, we often find ourselves struggling to find that one item that will handle both our charging needs in the car. We are Pokemon players and often need to have the phone charged between raids and during events.

This is pure genius. We always had cables all over the place in the car. We’d have a USB adapter in the 12V outlet with a couple of cables plugged in and drapped all over the car. The cables would get stepped on, sat on etc.
This has the cables built in – pure genius. Retractable – so they are out of the way. The ambient light is nice too. Changes just fine. Great design.
One minor issue is that since the cords are built in you are stuck with them. We’ve upgraded our Apple products and no longer need Lightning cable support – so one of the two cables on here is useless to us. We rarely need two at once so it isn’t a bit deal. In the future, I hope they come out with one that has two USB-C cables.
But the reason I am knocking off a star is the blinking voltage indicator. The listing says it blinks when there is low voltage. Well it blinks ALL THE TIME. My car is always show over 12V which for my car is appropriate – but the light keeps flashing and flashing and flashing. I consider that it is flashing improperly as there is nothing wrong with my voltage. I will be putting a piece of black tape over the display. This is very annoying – everything else is great.
