Relatively strong, and made of sturdy plastic. AC inverter worked as expected, and allows me to charge batteries for my camera in the car on AC power. Functionally works great. Only minor issue is that the fan is pretty whiny when it turns on periodically to cool the electronics. If you have a loud car you won’t hear it, but its an annoying periodic whine in my (quiet) EV.

My 2015 truck came with 12v plug for the backseat area, but USB only inside the center console. Rather than running a long USB cable and sharing the few ports available, this inverter was a better idea. The outlet plugs let you use a fast charger if you have one, or a slightly larger device than a phone or tablet.
I wouldn’t recommend it for today’s high-drain laptops, but it’ll charge the laptop battery on a long road trip. It does have a fan to keep it somewhat cool, but the higher the wattage use, the more noise you’ll have.

I needed the Ecobright power inverter to run a small mini fridge and bottle warmer for my infant, and it works perfectly. It also powers my laptop on long road trips and has a built-in USB-C for quick charging, which is a great bonus. I highly recommend this inverter for its reliability and versatility.

This 200W Car Power Inverter transforms 12 volts DC to 110V AC to power home devices. It is a modified sign wave, not a pure sign wave. The instruction warns you that some devices may overheat because of this. So it is not suitable for sensitive electronic devices. However, it is fine for car charging. Also, the USB ports are a nice addition. Mentioned in the instructions, determine the car cigarette lighter ampere rating to avoid blowing a fuse. If your circuit is 20 amps, you can run the full 200 watts. Some vehicles may only handle 15 amps. If that is the case, keep the load to under 150 watts. I plugged it into my cars outlet and pushed the power button to turn it on. The green power light came on, and it worked fine. It’s a nice accessory for your car to charge both AC devices and USB ones.

Amazon invited me to review this as part of the Vine program. This inverter is on the small side with a maximum power rating of 200W total, assuming the “cigarette lighter” power takeoff can handle that much. It includes two ac outlets, two quick charge 3.0 18W USBa outlets (for phones) and two power delivery USBc 30W outlets (for modern laptops etc supporting the power delivery standard–labeled PD next to the connector.) This is enough for most electronics but not enough for power tools, blenders, hair dryers, etc.
It has a nice complement of error-checking with three lights on top and a table of codes on the bottom as well as in the manual. There is one button, the power switch.
As noted in the manual, the inverter should be off when starting the car. This inverter can run off either the car while running, the car battery while the car is off, or a deep cell battery in a boat or RV. The inverter will draw current proportional to the load, so it is important to monitor the load especially when discharging the attached battery. It will cut off for an overload, as well as for an undervoltage. (It is rated to run on up to 16V, higher than an alternator puts out on a running internal combustion engine and down to 11.5V, lower than a discharged 12V lead acid battery.)
I am pleased with this charger, which I can use to quick charge our cell phones, power the laptop from the solar array on the RV, etc. Chargers like this can run up to 400W, so this is a modestly sized charger, but practically it will run most small electronics and none of these are designed for power tools, space heaters, blenders, and so forth, since those items can have surge loads that outmatch the DC circuits in a vehicle as well as the capacity of any small inverter. Practically, this inverter will cut off without damaging itself if it is overloaded, so that makes it quite safe. If it is running on a typical car battery without the engine running, it is best to only deplete the battery by 10% to save battery wear and tear, so it’s not something to just plug in and run for hours without monitoring battery voltage.

For inverter technology, this really changes the standard, as this is a 200 watt extension versus the old 100 or less watt inverters.
I love the 30W USB charging ports, as well as the 18W QC3.0 ports that make this a standout among these type of extending power devices. There are two AC outlets as well, and total draw should not exceed 200 watts.
The only scary part is that they do warn you that exceeding the power outputs of this inverter might blow automotive fuses. That is not a big deal, unless you expect to use high-wattages appliances in the car, such as a hair dryer or an iron.
For keeping devices powered-up, especially on a long trip, this is a really great inverter that will get the job done.

I live in Florida and the storm season is about to start, so I ordered this as an option to keep some of my electronic essentials going. It is very lightweight. I tested this inverter with a 120V bug zapper and it worked flawlessly. The USB-A and USB-C outlets work fine and they are listed as fast charging, so that is a great feature. There is an internal cooling fan, but I really didn’t hear it running. It comes with an instruction manual, although the operation is straight forward. This is not an inverter that is designed to power high wattage devices, but I will use it to maybe run a lamp and charge devices. The cost is about average for an inverter of this type.
