This was extremely fast and simple to install! I tapped into the fuse box inside the cab it took less than 5 minutes! Ran the wire behind my dash bezel and stuck it to the top corner of my gauge cluster. Came with a piece of very strong double sided tape. It’s very bright and easy to see during the day

The digits are clear and bright, maybe too bright for night. I placed one piece of 20% window tint film over the display and now it’s nighttime brightness matches my stereo display brightness. The blue color matches my stereo and dash light colors very well.
Update rate is just right, not too fast to be a distraction when driving while fast enough to be timely. The update rate is probably 1-2 per second. Comparisons between this unit and my expensive DMM shows their voltages agree very well, with 12.86v on my DMM matching this unit’s 12.9v reading. Power cord exits from the back of the unit, in from the right edge about a 1/4″. Drilled a 3/16″ hole to run the wire through my dash mount location. The provided double sided sticky tape is good and sticky, holding the display very well. A very good product for a very good price.

Why don’t all motorcycles have voltmeters?
I don’t know either but, after having the charging system fail on the road too many times in my life, all of my bikes will have one.
I chose to connect them to a running light circuit, these led volt meters are easy to install. Easy to read. And are a perfect way to monitor your charging system while riding. If you see you voltage start to drop, you have the opportunity to head for home or somewhere where you can get help before leaving you stranded on the side of the road. And believe me, that’s not fun.

Motorcycle almost completely left me when the stator went up and wasn’t charging the battery. I had a brand new battery and it ran only on it for about 15 minutes and I barely made it home, destroying the new lithium battery, what a scary feeling. I looked and found this beautiful meter and with my bike being “purple” the blue fits beautifully. I was able to mount it between the handlebars which allows me to look down at a split seconds notice to make sure all is well with the charging system. I was a little nervous when out at times and would see the volts drop to 13.7 or 8 and it came to me that, that’s when the radiator fan would come on. I was able to verify that tonight, pulling over to see and sure enough, it was purring right along and when it would drop the temperature of the coolant, of course the fan would stop and I’d be back to 14. 2, 3 , 4 or 5 depending on if I was downshifting or on any other variables. I couldn’t recommend this thing enough.
The wiring for it is tiny but with care I was able to wire it into the system and it works great. If I ever want to see where the batter is at while even on trickle charge, I just turn the key and the display rolls right up and I’ve got peace of mind. A winner all around. If you need to see what your system is doing, this thing is sweet and may just fit your bill, it sure did mine!
