So this is definitely a conversational piece. I was under the impression that it was wireless charging station for the car, not sure why, but it is not. I thought you charged the devil and then you used it like a power bank. But that’s not how it works, and that’s ok. The blue light on the belly is to charge the automatic arms to be charged so they will open and close . There are two separate ports for the c-charger, one for charging phone and one for charging devil.
The charging is so the arms of the devil open and close to hold the phone securely. And it does do just that. With a tap on his head he opens his arms open to put in your phone in, and then securely hugs it in place. When I was first playing with it I would accidentally touch the back of the head and my phone would drop on the floor or chair or whatever eles, unless I was fast entro catch it.
It has a short arm and an extender piece to place in vent. The clamp together. I used both as I I like it longer so you have more maneuverability of the arm and phone.
It is surely a conversation piece with its bright red candy apple color and its unique hugging capability.

It is such a cool concept, but it just won’t stay in the vent. After the third time falling riding down the road, I gave up! Also, wireless isn’t truly wireless, u have to plug it in from the bottom to work. If it hadn’t been for falling several times, I wouldn’t have cared about plugging it in.

I love this car charger! I’ve had a difficult time finding dash mount car chargers that would fit into my limited space. This mount/charger has both a short arm and long arm to configure to many lengths and the mount screws into most air vents for ease of mounting without having to worry about glue separating/ruining your dashboard or window mounts not holding. The mount will also charge most new model phones wirelessly which makes it easier to take the phone in and out of the car without connecting/disconnecting wiring. The only downside that I’ve found is the instructions. They are poorly written and does not do an adequate job of explaining setup/installation or charging features. Instructions tell you to fully charge the mount before using but there is nothing to indicate when the mount is fully charged. I also thought that charging the mount was for the purpose of using the mount as a wireless charger and only realized after some handling of the mount that I still have to plug the mount in to a power source to get the mount to charge the phone. You only charge the mount apparently to get the automatic open/close sensor to work. I also wish the arms were just a little deeper when putting my phone on the mount. The depth is fine holding my phone if I don’t have my phone in a protector case, but with it in a case the arms don’t fit snugly around the phone. Even with the few limitations, this mount/charger is still a great value.

Oh my goodness, this is so cute and serves a function to boot!! My adult son is into these different kind of little gadgets, that serve a purpose as well as brightening your day! ***we call them his big boy toys!!

The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box is how ergonomic it felt in my hand when cradling the part that’s holding the phone itself. To me that’s one of the most important functions. I don’t use my phone when I drive except for GPS or to skip a song, or something quick like that. Some of the holders out there are super uncomfortable when trying to hold the phone and scroll or select other functions. This one makes it feel like it was made just for my hands. It’s hard to explain but the shape is so ergonomic it’s mind-blowing.
It has 2 elbow joints which means you have more ways to adjust the angle and placement. I suggest putting it together completely first, and place the phone in the holder, then play around with placement before hooking this up to the vent. The reason is that the vent blades are fairly delicate and the hook in the back is metal. If you start messing with position after it’s attached you run a risk of breaking the vent blade. At the same time, once everything is in place it feels solid and sturdy and doesn’t seem to compromise the vent at all.
I live in TX and the windshield holders eventually end up falling off after a few years. But my main reason for switching to vent holder is that the phone constantly overheats and is unusable in the car for the most part. This holder is perfect, especially if you position the phone to be in front of, or close to the AC. I love the creativity of the holder too, it is super adorable. The horns light up a gentle glow of red, not distracting at all. The “belly” lights up blue when placing or removing phone. The part that holds the phone feels heavy and solid which was a pleasant surprise against cheap plastic we get most of the time, but not so heavy that it weighs down the vent. I’ve tested it, attached it, adjusted it, connected it, played with it. Every function is working as intended. Super happy with it and appreciate the quality.
